Heather is from the Bay Area and completed her PhD in cancer biology at USC and has expertise in integrin biology and CRISPR screens. As a post-doc in the Kalbasi lab, she is interested in identifying how tumor cells evade immune responses in the context of radiation therapy. Outside the lab, she likes to take pilates classes and explore San Francisco.
